- A water cup and cloth or paper towel for each painting station.

Should everyone paint the same picture?
Not necessarily. Letting guests choose different designs often makes the evening more personal. People can compare colours and progress without feeling as though their painting should look identical to everyone else’s.
Set up the table in stations
Put each canvas, paint set and brush together before guests arrive. Leave a shared area for snacks and bottles so people are not reaching across wet paintings.
Do not promise everyone will finish
A Paint and Wine night is still successful if everyone leaves with an unfinished project. The point is the shared activity. Each guest can close the paint pots and continue at home later.
Keep the evening relaxed
Avoid turning the night into a competition unless your group genuinely enjoys that. Conversation is easier when people can pause, change colours or take a break without falling behind.
